Principal Selection Process

With Mr. Padalino announcing his retirement, the district is going through the process of finding his replacement.  There is an extensive leader selection process, which can be viewed in its entirety at this link http://www.tulsaschools.org/5_Careers/_documents/pdf/PrincipalSelectionProcess.pdf.

Currently, the district is in phase 1, the pre-screening process.  They are sourcing candidates through a national search, regional contacts, an internal pool of experienced candidates, and networks of principal associations, school leaders, etc.

The determination of finalists will take place in June, and final selection could be in late June, with principal induction and orientation taking place in July.  The names of finalists will not be released in order to protect the candidates' anonymity.  As information becomes available, the PTSA is committed to sharing it so that all parents are kept aprised of any new developments.
