The school year is more than half way done. How many books has your child read? How many Reading Counts tests have they taken and passed? Reading and taking tests are necessary for at least 2 reasons at Thoreau. #1 All micro classes have the requirement that students should pass a certain number of tests in order to work toward an A for that class. #2 If you read a million words or more, you will be invited to a library party with pizza and prizes. For the Millions Word Reader Party, all tests must be completed by Friday, May 1.The party will take place during extended day the last week of school.
